FIRST UK FORMATION OF THE YEAR ARRIVES - 19/04/2002
The joy and the madness begin… The first UK crop formation of the year has now been discovered at Soberton, Hampshire, and was first reported on 12th April, visible from the B2150 road from Droxford to Hambledon. It’s a traditional simple start – a modest sized ringed circle in oilseed rape. NASA WITHDRAWS REMAINING FUNDING TO ARECIBO RADIO TELESCOPE - 12/04/2002
As part of its continuing financial restructuring, NASA has recently withdrawn its remaining commitment to the Arecibo installation in Puerto Rico, which was, of course, from where the famous 1974 binary message echoed in the 2001 Chilbolton crop formation was sent.
