WHY COLIN ANDREWS IS 80% WRONG AND 20% RIGHT:

In my view, nobody has the ultimate truth (although I have delusions that I do, ho-ho), but as for Colin, his 80/20 ratio is simply made up in order for him to maintain credibility with the media. He wants to stay Top Dog in the circles world and, to do so, he has to be a semi-sceptic (oops - an 80% sceptic). He is being conservative. Plain and simple. He knows full well that no plankster can do swirls of mini-circles with side circles all over, in a planned arrangement, such as 280 or more, and they can't be done in the dark, nor in ten minutes, with one eye on the farmer's jeep and his shotgun. He knows, full well (oops, 80% well) that the crop is unforgiving and will not allow errors to be ‘erased’.

So, I offer the Beckjord ratio: 20% planked and 80% real.

How do I know? Because I've cut or laid down four formations with permission, and it is damned hard, in full daylight... Very damned hard, to do well. It is also exhausting.
